River Bluff lacrosse sets more records in win
Saturday marked another historic note in the history of the River Bluff High School boys’ lacrosse program.
On a day the team extended its school record for victories, one of its 17 seniors established an individual mark. Senior captain Kevin Flannery scored 10 goals in the 16-4 win over Irmo.
The new single-game mark helped the Gators improve to 11-4 overall to go with a 5-0 mark in Region 5-District 3 play heading into the April 10 showdown at Lexington.
“The leadership from (team captains) Kevin, Dillon (Marchant), Nick Petta and Andrew Moss, our goalie, those leaders are incredible to this program,” River Bluff head coach Gordie Howe said. “They’re going to be missed next year for sure.
