Bowlero opens in Cayce, to enhance the bowling experience

Cayce-West Columbia Chamber Board President Tina Washington, Chamber ED Richard Skipper, Bowlero GM Matt Roland, and Cayce Councilwoman Tara Almond.

There’s a new bowling experience in Cayce. The ribbon was cut, Friday, on Bowlero. It’s the totally remolded- and renamed- bowling alley at 900 Axtell Dr., in the Parkland Plaza building that was formerly known as AMF Park Lanes.

Bowlero features blacklight bowling, an arcade, food and drink specials, and more.

Bowlero is holding a grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“It’s high energy bowling,” said Matt Roland, the general manager of Bowlero.

He said there are more than 300 Bowlero locations nationally. AMF, Bowlmor, and Brunswick bowling alleys are becoming Bowlero.

The Cayce building, as a part of the transformation. has been fitted with new TVs, scoreboards, seating and bowling lanes.

“We remodeled it from the floor up,” said Roland.

There are new food options, too. He said the Alley Sampler, with a little bit of everything for everyone, is a favorite at Bowlero. The Dunk Tank and Mega Mule are cocktail options for patrons. Roland also said the new venue has a goal to change the bowling experience. “We sell fun,” he said.
