The newest seafood restaurant in Harbison should be opening its doors to curious customers this weekend. Wild Crab Seafood, located at 275 Park Terrace Dr. Suite 200, will specialize in a New Orleans-style boiled Cajun seafood.

Restaurant owner Fennie, said the store will offer dine-in meals ordered off their menu (not a buffet), and hold approximately 40 tables. She also said the restaurant is locally owned and operated.

According to the Wild Crab website, eating most of their meals will be a hands-on experience. “Although it is a little messy, that is its style and charm,” the description reads. Items like corn on the cob, hush puppies, snow crab legs, and Cajun fries can create the potential for needing quite a few napkins. Hand sanitizer, moist towelettes, and nearby sinks will be available for cleanup after the meal is over.

Entree styles are broken down into categories:
The “seafood” category includes a selection of blue crab, shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels, or oysters. The entree comes with corn and potatoes.
The “fried basket” category offers fried tilapia, shrimp, chicken tenders, oysters, soft shell crab, crab cakes and calamari. The entree comes with regular fries, cajun fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings or hush puppies.
The “seafood combo” category allows customers to choose two meats served with corn and potatoes.

Four seasoning options are available for the dishes: cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, or the Wild’s special. Additional spiciness can be added into each entree, if desired.

The restaurant will also offer a full bar, children’s menu options, and four types of dessert.

Their hours of operation are listed as Sunday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from noon to 11 p.m.

When asked if the restaurant would be opening Friday, as some customers had previously thought, Fennie said no. “It will be later in the weekend,” she said.
