7-Eleven representatives are inviting Lexington community members to sip, snack, and join the fun at the convenience store’s grand opening Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. This is the third 7-Eleven, partnering with Applegreen USA, that has opened in the area since December.  There will be one more store set to open in Lexington this year, along with additional locations in Columbia.

Elizabeth Pierce, president of Applegreen Southeast USA said, “We look forward to being a go-to convenience store in the local area and business community in the Midlands, providing 24-hour gas and quality food and beverage. We invite the community to come out and celebrate our third location in Lexington.”

Store promotions throughout the afternoon will include special giveaways from Shell Fuel Corporation, Budweiser, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Monster, Miller/Coors, Redbull, and more. There will be free pizza and Big Bite Hot Dog samples, along with other edible treats. Gas prices will also be reduced for a limited time throughout the day.

The new store is located at 784 US 378 in Lexington.
