The Columbia Fireflies are searching for talented soloists and groups to perform the National Anthem at the Fireflies home games for the 2019 season.

The auditions will be held at Segra Park (formerly Spirit Communications Park) Saturday, Feb. 23 and Monday, March 4. All interested parties must contact the Fireflies to schedule an appointment, according to officials. Auditions are by appointment only.

In addition to singers, instrumentalists and groups are invited to try out. Those who have sung the National Anthem at the ballpark in previous seasons must audition again, officials noted.

To schedule an audition contact Brooke Buckley at 803-888-3047 or bbuckley@columbiafireflies.com.

There are 70 home games scheduled between April and August this upcoming season. Selected performers will receive four complimentary tickets to the game for the night of their scheduled performance. Not everyone who auditions for the song will earn a spot.

Tickets for the 2019 Columbia Fireflies season are available now, and can be purchased at the Fireflies box office, over the phone at 803-726-HITS, or online at FirefliesTickets.com.
