Coroner identifies 2 men who were shot at apartment complex, Thursday

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has released the names of the two individuals who died Thursday morning  in a shooting incident. It happened shortly before 9 a.m. at 511 Alcott Drive, Columbia.

Eric Griffin,24, of Woodcrest Drive, Columbia, died at the scene after being shot by someone.  An autopsy indicated that the cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Antonio Deandre Dash, 23, of Barrington Drive, Columbia, died at the scene after being shot by someone.  An autopsy indicated that the cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office and the Columbia Police Department are investigating the incident.
