RV wreck on I-20 causes 40-gallon diesel spill, lane closures
The Irmo Fire Department notified the public of an RV wreck that occurred on I-20 westbound at mile marker 63 around 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Lexington County fire units are also on scene.
According to the department, the collision caused about 40 gallons of diesel to spill on the ground, but did not reach the Saluda River. The driver of the RV was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The department reported that the portion of I-20 westbound affected will be closed for up to two hours. Any additional updates on the incident will be provided when received.
