The South Carolina State Museum is providing festive winter activities for the whole family to enjoy. Winter Fest is the museum’s holiday celebration that will continue through Jan. 6.

“Enjoy snowball fights, igloo building, hands-on activities like scavenger hunts and holiday crafts and more,” reads the announcement.

All Winter Fest activities are included in the museum general admission or membership prices.

Winter Break camps are also being offered for children six to 12 years old.  Each day will focus on a different subject matter and includes a special “Noon Year’s Eve Bash.” Campers can customize their schedules.  Every camp day features morning social time with other campers, museum exploration time, hands-on and interactive activities, snack time and lunch time.

Holiday shows currently playing at the museum include The Polar Express 4D Experience, Ice Age No Time for Nuts 4D, Star of Bethlehem, and Laser Holidays.
