Out of all the food college students prefer eating late at night, pizza may arguably be at the top of the list.  Domino’s will be making that 2 a.m. pizza craving much easier to satisfy when their newest store opens next week. The Devine Street Domino’s will be moving to a new location across from the University of South Carolina (in the old Sandy’s Hotdogs building) on South Main Street.

According to manager Desiree Aude, the new Domino’s will cater to the USC crowd.  Not only will it be a bigger store than the Devine Street location, but it will offer customers a dine-in option.

“It’s going to be a full dine-in restaurant, they can come in, order, sit down, eat, and watch the games,” she said.  “It’s going to basically be catered to USC.”

Aude said their hours will remain the same, offering their full menu from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and until 4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

As long as everything goes according to plan, Aude said they will open next week.  “Unless they change something, it should be opened by the 27th,” she added.

Since the new location is larger, Domino’s will be hiring additional staff.  Anyone interested in applying must go to the Devine Street location (1124 Devine St.) to fill out an application.
