The South Carolina State Fair is only three weeks away.

Some make it a point to buy tickets ahead of time, to prepare for the event. Others prefer to wait until they reach the fairgrounds to purchase their admission tickets. Whether you’re a planner or a procrastinator, officials from the fair want to make it a little easier for guests to pre-purchase tickets this year.

“FRED” will be traveling around the Midlands through October 9, with discounted admission and ride tickets. F.R.E.D. is an acronym for “Follow the fun, Ride the rides, Eat the food, and Dazzle the mind,” and is the name of the South Carolina State Fair’s new roving ticket booth. Buyers can also spin a fun wheel while visiting FRED, for a chance to win a prize. The provided discounts will be $3 off per ticket, and $5 per voucher.

According to the fair’s announcement, the ticket booth will be making stops at various locations:

Sept. 20: Ice House Ampitheater – Lexington, 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
