Lexington Police Department holding Rape Aggression Defense training class

The Lexington Police Department is holding a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training class,  taught by officers who are certified R.A.D. Instructors.

The three day R.A.D. classes will be taught at the Lexington Police Department with classes beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m. each night.

 Tuesday, April 3

 Wednesday, April 4

The purpose of the Rape Aggression Defense classes is to provide women with self- defense skills that are learned quickly and giving them confidence when faced with a possible violent encounter.

Women are encouraged to attend this no cost training. Teenagers, age 14 or greater, can attend with parental consent. Students are asked to dress comfortably and will be expected to complete all three evening training sessions for R.A.D. completion.
There is limited space in this class, so please register early.
