The home of the South Carolina General Assembly and the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina, the State House is a popular attraction in the city of Columbia.

The structure, made of stone, brick and metal features more than 20 different monuments and memorials, handcrafted ceiling arches and much more.

From the original markings where six bronze cannon balls struck the house, to the amazing artwork and beautiful stained glass, the State House is a must visit for people coming to the city.
