Gamecocks lose at Texas A&M

Texas A&M defeated South Carolina, 83-60 Saturday at Texas A&M.

The Aggies (15-8, 4-6 SEC) jumped out to a lead early and led 49-27 at the half. The Gamecocks (13-10, 4-6 SEC) shot only 21.1 percent in the first half. Texas A&M dominated South Carolina in points in the paint (40 to 18) and on the fast break (17-4).

Justin Minaya scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Gamecocks.
