John’s RV buys 84-acre tract in Lexington for new facility
The property is at Longs Pond Road and Two Notch Road, said NAI Avant broker Lee Bussell. He procured the site. John’s RV will develop the land for its recreational vehicle sales and service department.
“The property has high visibility from I-20,” said Bussell. And that’s what the company wanted.
The property was purchased from Hanover Fayette, LLC for $1.5 million.
John’s RV is currently on Glassmaster Road, and it fronts I-20, but the growth of the business necessitated the need for more space, said Bussell.
Bussell said the new John’s facility is expected to be completed in the next 12 monts, but it could take less time than that.
“They will use 25 acres for the dealership,” said Bussell. The rest of the land will be sold. Bussell said one tract in the package consists of 50 acres together. He said the land could be marketed for anything from warehouse to office space
John’s RV was established in the Midlands in 1978.
The business bills itself as a provider of a full range of new and used RV’s, both towable and motorized. Their brands include Winnebago, Forest River and Keystone. They are also the exclusive Airstream dealer for the state of South Carolina.
