SC 6 eastbound on-ramp closure Friday night, July 14

The SC 6 eastbound on-ramp onto Interstate 20 in Lexington County will be closed Friday night, July 14, for ramp restriping and barrier wall placement.

A detour will be in place with signs for motorists to follow.

Motorists heading north who wish to take the I-20 on ramp should proceed on SC 6 an additional 1.61 miles until they get to US 1 intersection. Motorist will take a right and follow US 1 for 2.53 Miles until they reach the I-20 on ramp.

Motorists traveling southbound on SC 6 will pass the on ramp to I-20 and go to the next intersection (Two Notch Rd) and take a left. They will drive down Two Notch road for approx. 2.58 miles until they get to Dooley Road and take a left turn. Motorists will then follow Dooley Road for 1 mile and take a left on US 1 to then access I-20 on-ramp.

The I-20 eastbound on ramp at US 6 closure will occur:

•           From 11 p.m. Friday, July 14, until 7 a.m. Saturday, July 15.

Motorists are advised to use caution and plan accordingly in case of delays.

SC 6 eastbound exit ramp closure Saturday night, July 15

The SC 6 eastbound exit ramp (Exit 55) on Interstate 20 in Lexington County will be closed Saturday night, July 15, for ramp restriping.

A detour will be in place with signs for motorists to follow.

Motorists heading east who wish to take Exit 55 should proceed to Exit 58 and turn onto westbound US 1. At the next intersection, turn back onto I-20 going westbound to exit 55.

The exit 55 eastbound ramp closure will occur:

•           From 11 p.m. Saturday July 15 until 7 a.m. Sunday, July 16

Message board signs along I-20 will display detour directions.

Motorists are advised to use caution and plan accordingly in case of delays.
