Police say USC football players Deebo Samuel, Skai Moore not part of bar assault

Columbia Police Investigators have an outstanding arrest warrant for a 20-year-old suspect accused of assaulting a male victim at a Five Points business last weekend.

Some earlier reports attempted to  link USC football players Samuel and Moore to the assault. Gamecock head football coach Will Muschamp maintained Samuel was not there, despite reports to the contrary.

Jalen Antwan Dread is wanted for Simple Assault after an incident on April 29, 2017 at 812 Harden Street. (Five Points Saloon). The warrant has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
