Rosemary Ann Cseh, 64, was found dead at the scene of the blaze, which occurred in the 100 block of Darian Drive.

An autopsy Monday confirmed Cseh died from carbon monoxide poisoning, said Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

County firefighters and EMS responded to the scene after receiving a call of a single-story residential structure fire around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.

When emergency personnel arrived, smoke and flames were observed coming from the structure. Firefighters entered the residence to perform a primary search and found Cseh inside. After pulling her from the home, she was confirmed deceased.

After further investigation, firefighters discovered there were no working smoke alarms inside the house. The home suffered an estimated $45,000 in damages. There were no other people inside the structure at the time of the fire, and no other injuries were reported.

The Lexington County Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
