Columbia Development Group LLC will complete work on the 25,000-square-foot, single-story building on Forest Drive near Fort Jackson in late November.

“We are truly excited about the opportunity to bring to the area a project that enhances one of the most heavily traveled corridors in and out of the Forest Acres Community,” said Coke Mann, partner at Columbia Development.

The property will consist of a drive-thru Panera Bread, a Wing Stop, a franchise of the Tex-Mex restaurant chain Tijuana Flats and a Petco. Mann said there still are two acres of property available for leasing through his company.

Mann said the firm picked the location at the corner of Forest Drive and Percival Road because of its regional access of Interstate 77, proximity to the main entrance to Fort Jackson and location near high-income residential areas.

Columbia is flourishing with new business as announcements have been made for a barbecue restaurant to come to the Cross Hill Market in addition to the completion of Rosewood Crossing development, which includes a new Marshall’s, Michael’s and Petsmart.
