New Denny’s to open next week in West Columbia
A former Burger King in West Columbia is opening as a new chain restaurant next week.
Denny’s has announced a grand opening at 8 a.m. April 14 after several weeks of renovations to the space on Sunset Boulevard near the Interstate 26 ramp.
“Our newest Denny’s in West Columbia offers the newest design concept, giving guest an updated, modern aesthetic with the familiar flavors and beloved dishes our guests know and love,” said Adam Jacobs, Denny’s owner. “The community has been very supportive, and we look forward to finally unveiling our new location and seeing them all in the booths”
Hiring has started, and the new location is expected to generate 85 jobs.
Like other Denny’s restaurants, the West Columbia eatery will be open 24 hours a day, will offer up to two free kids meals for children 10 and under on Tuesdays and will provide diners with a free Birthday Grand Slam meal.
Other Denny’s Columbia-area locations are on Harbison Boulevard and Fairfield Drive.
