SC Works to host job fair Tuesday

Job seekers are invited to meet representatives from dozens of local companies that are hiring now.

SC Works is hosting a job fair Tuesday at the National Guard Armory on Bluff Road. Employers from the University of South Carolina, Aflac, Michelin, Home Depot and numerous other companies will be taking applications and talking to interested candidates from 9 a.m. until noon.

Several businesses will be looking to hire people with disabilities and are collaborating with the Columbia Mayor’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. Job seekers can learn about openings and accommodations available to meet their needs.

The job fair is free and open to the public.
