Lexington Medical Center network of care welcomes 2 new physicians
Two area physicians have joined new medical facilities in the Midlands but will still be caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Eva Imperial has set up shop at Spring Valley Family Practice, while Dr. Jennifer A. Greene will practice at Carolina Women’s Physicians. Both offices are a part of the Lexington Medical Network of care.
Imperial is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Spring Valley High.
“I’m glad to be back in the neighborhood I call home,” she said. “I’m dedicated to listening to my patients carefully and making sure they know that I want to provide them the best care possible.”
Spring Valley Family Practice provides care for children and adults. Services include complete health physicals, sports physicals, DOT physicals, diabetic maintenance, immunizations, glucose tolerance tests, X-ray, hearing screenings, sick visits, pulmonary function tests and well-woman visits including pap smears.
Imperial will work alongside Drs. James H. Altieri and Rutkumar P. Jani at Spring Valley Family Practice, which is accepting new patients.
Greene is returning to patient care full time after working as an assistant professor and associate program director for the University of South Carolina School of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She completed an internal medicine internship at Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Company in Grand Rapids, Mich. before completing her OB/GYN internship and residency in Columbia.
On staff at Carolina Women’s Physicians, Greene will offer care through her special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, cervical cytology and histopathology, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
Drs. Allyson Jones, Elizabeth Lambert, Samantha Morton and Julie Reed and certified physician assistant Amy McMillan are the remaining staff members at Carolina Women’s Physicians.
