Chicken Salad Chick opening this month in Harbison area

Chicken Salad Chick is expanding into the Harbison area a few months after openings its doors in Lexington.

The new location is scheduled to open June 10 next to Outback Steakhouse.

“We are so excited to continue expanding the Chicken Salad Chick community throughout the Carolinas,” said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. “It has been such a blessing to see our brand grow as we move farther away from our original location in Auburn.”

Franchise owners Julie Beville and Michelle Singleton, of SingBev Hospitality, said the success of the Lexington store prompted them to look for a new home. They brought Chicken Salad Chick to Sunset Boulevard in October 2013.

“Opening another location in South Carolina is very exciting for us, as this is the third of 20-plus locations we’ll be bringing to the Carolinas,” Beville and Singleton said.

The duo also operates Chicken Salad Chick in Greenville but has not yet signed leases for any other Greater Columbia locations.

The fast-casual restaurant features 15 original flavors of chicken salad as well as soups, side salads and fresh-baked desserts. Chicken Salad Chick is in the midst of opening 54 franchises across the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

“The chosen location on Harbison Boulevard is perfect for us to showcase our brand to both our loyal customers and to those who have yet to enjoy the Chicken Salad Chick experience,” Brown said.

Chicken Salad Chick in Harbison is expected to create 20 to 30 jobs. More information on career opportunities can be found here.
