West Metro businesses invited to ‘thaw out’ at Chamber of Commerce event

The West Metro Chamber of Commerce is inviting local businesses to a networking event next week designed to help them jumpstart their second quarter of 2014.

The “Thawing Out” Business Expo is set for Tuesday. Special event venue Celebrations will host the gathering of business owners and local leaders from 4 to 7 p.m.

Gregg Pinner, chamber president and CEO, said the expo can be an ideal way to boost a business that “an icy start to 2014.”

The festivities will be held outdoors in one of Celebrations’ climate-controlled tents. Cost is $100 for West Metro Chamber members and $150 for non-members.

Celebrations Chief Operations Officer Lee Pitcovich said he is looking forward to Celebrations being the site of frequent Chamber events, especially being able to provide a fun atmosphere outdoors. The special event rental business is at 830 Sunset Blvd.

“We hope this is the first of many,” Pitcovich said.
