Lexington County Narcotics Enforcement Team busts third meth lab in 3 days

It’s been an extremely busy week for the  Lexington County multi-agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET). Officers from the team have made seven arrests in three separate meth lab busts, the most recent coming Wednesday.

Travis Leon Horton, 26, is charged with operating a meth laboratory at his home on Bluefield Road near Lexington. He also faces charges of heroin and marijuana possession, unlawfully possessing four handguns and unlawfully possessing a prescription painkiller. Officers also seized about $3,000 in cash when Horton was arrested Wednesday.

Officers found five plastic bottles that had been used as reaction vessels to manufacture meth at Horton’s home, along with other drug paraphernalia and drugs.
