New Lexington Chamber series aimed at boosting business profiles

Whether they operate a small business or large enterprise, shop and restaurant owners will want to attend an upcoming Lexington County Chamber of Commerce featured event.

Through a new quarterly series, the Chamber is looking to “ignite” businesses of all types by giving them insight into using the latest free tools.

The 2013 Business IGNITE Series will kick off Sept. 12 and run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anissa Starnes, regional development director with Constant Contact, will lead discussions on “The Power of Email Marketing” and “Social Media Made Simple by Constant Contact”.

Starnes will outline the ins and outs of email and social media marketing in the dual workshops. She’ll touch on how to boost productivity, save money, increase your profile and much more using these methods.

The Chamber’s staff also encourages people to bring plenty of business cards with them as the afternoon will be an ideal time to network with others.

Registration for the 2013 Business IGNITE Series (at 311 West Main St. in Lexington) is $25. Cost includes lunch. The events are open to the public.
