Title: Managing Editor/Reporter

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Develop and execute the overall Cola Daily strategy and business model with the approval of the Managing Partners
  • Manage and schedule full-time, part-time and freelance reporters including reporting schedules and deadlines
  • Approve all content provided by all staff and contributors
  • Write stories
  • Represent Cola Daily to partners, vendors, advertisers and the community
  • Oversee the operation of the website including training of content updates and participating in the overall development of the site and its operations in coordination with Managing Partners and website developers
  • Manage the email database and daily content pushes
  • Coordinate on air reports between reporters and radio programming staff

Position reports to Managing Partners of MMG, LLC. Direct report: Keith Stover

Work Schedule:

Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30a – 5:30p. There will periodically be meetings you will be required to attend outside of these times and client and/or station events that will include some evenings and weekends

Department: Radio Programming

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Host regular daily airshift including content features from concept to finished production
  • Assist with programming development including daily, weekly, annual, holiday, and specialty features
  • Assist with development and management of website and social media content
  • Voice and produce commercial and promotional announcements
  • Represent station at events to partners, vendors and clients
  • Participate in development and activation of station promotions
  • Represent Cola Daily to partners, vendors, advertisers and the community
