There was a multi-car collision on Highway 277 outbound, in Columbia, Thursday afternoon, according to the Columbia Police Department. The Columbia Fire Department and EMS are on the scene. Pawmetto Lifeline gets $98,690 from PetSmart Charities for its spay and neuter efforts

Pawmetto Lifeline announced  Wednesday that it has received $98,690 from PetSmart Charities, the largest funder of animal welfare in North America. The money will be used to help fund Pawmetto Lifeline’s spay and neuter efforts in the Midlands of South Carolina. With the help of this donation, the organization will complete 1,581 Spay/Neuter surgeries.

Walkers discover body near Harden Street
