SCE&G will release water from Lake Murray into the lower Saluda River through Saluda Hydroelectric Plant Saturday, to support Canoeing for Kids’ annual “Raft-A-Rama” fundraiser. Overturned truck blocking I-20 exit

LPD photo. The westbound exit ramp from Sunset Boulevard to I-20 was closed Friday morning because of an overturned tractor trailer. The Lexington Police Department is advising motorists to seek an alternate route to access westbound I-20 until the road is cleared. All lanes of Sunset Boulevard are open. The LPD report said the exit will be closed several hours.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the second individual who died after a vehicle collision.
