Lexington County Public Safety responded to a vehicle versus structure call, Saturday. It was in the Southwood community of Chapin. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in  a single-vehicle accident. It occurred in the 300 block of Glenn Road in West Columbia at approximately  5:25 p.m. Tuesday. Person airlifted from Lexington County plant with life-threatening injuries

The Lexington County Fire Service and Lexington County EMS responded to an entrapment at the Diamond Pet Food plant in Gaston at 11:30 a.m. LCFS and LCEMS extricated and stabilized a patient, who was then airlifted via LifeLine helicopter to a local hospital.
