Scott Eric Fernquist, 22, of Lexington, was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Columbia, for receiving child pornography, according to a press release from US Attorney Beth Drake. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a Columbia teen as a homicide. Columbia firefighters found the teen in a wooded area of the 200 block of Columbiana Drive, according to detectives.
