Former AHS asst. principal receives $30,000 personal recognizance bond
Former Airport High School Assistant Principal Dawn Diimmler, who has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a student, was granted a $30,000 personal recognizance bond. The bond hearing was held in Lexington Monday morning.
Diimler will not have to post bond money unless she fails to show up in court. She was also scheduled for a court hearing at 9 a.m., April 5.
Diimmler has been charged with two cases of sexual battery with a student. One case was filed by Columbia Police and the other was filed by the Cayce Department of Public Safety. The allegations of a sexual a relationship with an Airport High School were said to have taken place in March and June of 2017.
