South Carolina women lose in basketball finale at Tennessee

The South Carolina women’s basketball team fell at No. 15 Tennessee Sunday, 65-46, in the final regular-season game.

The No. 7 Gamecocks were without their best player, A’ja Wilson, who experienced vertigo and did not play.

USC, despite the loss, is still the second seed in the SEC tournament.

The Gamecocks (23-6, 12-4 SEC) opens the SEC tournament in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, as the No. 2 seed. USC’s opponent has yet to be determined.
