Gilbert, Northside Middle Schools name new principals


P. Heath Branham was named as the new principal at Gilbert Elementary School by the Lexington County School District One Board, Tuesday.

Branham replaces Tim Oswald, who retires at the end of the academic year.
With more than 20 years of teaching and leadership experience, Branham currently works as director of academic operations with Advantage, a position he’s held since 2013. In his current role, he works with domestic and international partnership schools throughout China and Taiwan. In 2005, Branham first came to Lexington District One as principal at Saxe Gotha Elementary School.

Mary Paige Damm has been named Principal of Northside Middle School effective July 1. She was approved for the position at the regular meeting of the Lexington School District Two Board. Mrs. Damm received a BA from Winthrop University, a MAT from Clemson University, and a Degree in Education Administration from Winthrop University.
She has 18 years experience in administration, most recently serving as a Principal in Richland School District Two at E.L. Wright Middle School.
