Public meeting for St. Andrews Road Corridor Revitalization is 6:30 p.m. Thursday
A public meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday (April 20) in the Saluda Shoals Environmental Auditorium to discuss the revitalization of the St. Andrews corridor, the gateway to Saluda Shoals Park.
The public meeting will discuss information gathered from a workshop that was conducted by grants from Lexington County together with the Michael J. Mungo Foundation for the Boudreaux Group to develop a plan for the revitalization of aging St. Andrews Road.
The St. Andrews Corridor has the potential and capacity to become beautiful and vibrant and celebrate the impact of Saluda Shoals Park and attract new businesses, civic facilities, and residential opportunities that reflect the mission of the Park and the recreational assets of the Saluda River and Lake Murray. With an estimated 2016 attendance of 30,000 and more than $2,300,000 in economic impact, Saluda Shoals Park is a vital asset to the community. The media is encouraged to attend the public meeting.
