Gunshots and high-speed chase end with capture

Four suspects were caught overnight after a high-speed chase that involved gunfire at state troopers. The chase started Friday night in Fairfield County, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s department.
The suspects fled on foot after crashing the car they were in at Killian Road and I-77. Brittany Jackamonis of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department communicated the incident via social media.
The Richland County Sheriff’s department was notified of the pursuit from the South Carolina Highway Patrol late Friday night.
The public was asked to stay away from the area of Killian Road and I-77. Deputies, state troopers, K-9 units and a helicopter were part of the manhunt.
