Lexington Technology Center students soar at business competition
Several Lexington County School District One students will compete at the upcoming state Future Business Leaders of America event after winning awards at the district-level competition.
Students from Lexington Technology Center’s FBLA chapter competed at the S.C. FBLA District Two competition held at Lexington Technology Center on Saturday, January 28.
The following students placed in their respective competitive events. All are eligible to compete at the S.C. FBLA competition March 17–19 in Charleston.
First-place winners include: Briana Monee Cain (Accounting II); Carlisa Maria Ancrum (Accounting I); Lexie Rae Marsh and Audra Noelle Knight (Business Plan); Caroline Elizabeth Beaty (Securities and Investments); Jason Harvey Brantley, Jack Paul Farley and Andrew Furman Thomason (Banking & Financial Systems); and Griffin McMillan (Business Calculations).
Other LTC winners were: Marian Grace Gavin, receiving fourth-place in Intro to Business Communications, and Morgan Gwen Gavin, who won fifth-place in the Public Speaking II category.
