According to LPD Lt. Carroll Bledsoe, Jr., an unidentified man and woman have been on the loose since at least August and involved in numerous crimes in and around Lexington.

The suspects have committed or attempted several “distraction-type thefts” at local businesses within the town, Bledsoe said. Further, the male suspect also is a person of interest in a strong-armed robbery and burglary.

The male suspect is described as being between 30-40 years of age with a stocky build, facial hair and unique bald patch on his right, front hairline.

Vehicles involved in these incidents have been a black or dark blue Dodge Charger and a dark grey Nissan Altima, according to Bledsoe.

Anyone with information on the identity of these persons or crimes are urged to contact the Lexington Police Department at 803-359-6260, their local law enforcement agency, or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC.
